Shred Station’s Scott Taylor is taking on The Marsden Jog!
Scott Taylor, an Accounts Assistant at our Norwich head office, has been with the company since 2011. But it hasn’t always been plain sailing for Scott.
In July 2012, at just 23 years old, Scott received the devastating news that he had cancer. Scott underwent chemotherapy and 26 cycles of radiotherapy to treat the soft tissue rhabdomyosarcoma. In the process, he lost eyesight in one eye, which was then removed. But, after seven months of the gruelling treatment, Scott received the wonderful news that he was cancer free. Continuing maintenance chemotherapy until August 2014, two years after his original diagnosis, Scott powered through and his fight with cancer was finally won.
On 13th March 2016, Scott participated in the Marsden March. By marching for 14 miles, he raised £3,298 for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity – a charity that supported Scott throughout his treatment.
In January 2023, Scott will raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity once again. This time, he will be jogging 40 miles.
The 40-mile Jog
Throughout January, Scott will be jogging 40 miles with the hopes of raising £500.
Scott says:
“The reason I’m taking on the 40-mile jog is to mark my 10 years all clear by giving back to the place I owe so much to. By raising money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, I hope I can help make sure that other people going through cancer can get the same support I did.”

Wishing you all the best of luck, Scott! We know you’ll do great.
