It is with great pride we announce that we are through to the finals in the Sustainable Business of the Year category. This is a truly remarkable feat and being a finalist on its own is a colossal achievement. It is particularly special to us here at Shred Station to be a finalist in this category as we have invested a huge amount of time and resources into reducing our emissions, going above and beyond the requirements of The CarbonNeutral Protocol, achieving lifetime CarbonNeutral® company and fleet certification, and supporting sustainable initiatives all over the world.

In every aspect of our operations, we keep the environment in mind. For instance:

  • Our head office is powered by solar
  • Our trucks are all Euro 6 Low Emissions compliant
  • We use HVO fuel in our fuel mix, saving around 88.3% emissions per litre compared with diesel
  • We support tree-planting projects all around the globe. So far, we’ve planted over 15,000 new trees across six continents
  • Our routes are optimised to ensure the lowest possible road emissions
  • Our greenhouse gas emissions are assessed every single year, and, as of 2024, we are a lifetime CarbonNeutral® certified company
  • And much more!

When will the winner be announced?

The next stage of judging will include a presentation to a team of expert judges. After all finalists have completed their presentations, a winner will be chosen in each category. The winners will then be revealed at a glittering awards ceremony on Tuesday 12th November 2024.

We are already so proud to be a finalist alone, but please keep everything crossed for us!
