As 2018 begins, we’re delighted to be celebrating our 10th anniversary as a successful shredding provider. The Shred Station story began in 2008. In the early days, we operated with a lone mobile shredding truck, travelling around to meet the needs of local business on-site. Since then, we’ve expanded from that one truck to offer.

Excited Pupils Take Part in Mobile Shredding Demo at Brundall Primary School

Following a competition we held recently, where local schoolchildren entered their ideas to name some of our shredding trucks, we returned to Brundall Primary School for a demonstration of Mobile Shredding. One of the winners of the truck name competition was present for the demo and was happy to be pictured alongside the truck with.

Name Our Shredding Trucks Competition – Brundall School Presentation

Schools local to our Norwich head office recently took part in a competition to ‘Name Our Shredding Trucks’, with a prize on offer for each winning name selected to appear on a truck. Shred Station becomes a member of UKSSA

We’re very pleased to announce that we recently joined UKSSA, the UK Security Shredding Association. UKSSA is the only UK-based association dedicated to Security Shredding operational standards. It stipulates and enforces the highest operational standards in confidential data destruction, including compliance with BS EN15713 and BS 7578. UKSSA’s own standards cover areas such as building.
